BUILDING LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESS IN CHILDREN FIRST
Who else
wants their kids to be self-motivated and in charge of their own future?
Wouldn’t it be good to come home and know that you
won’t have to fight over the remote control to turn off the TV so that your
kids finally get on with their homework?
Wouldn’t it be good to feel confident that your kids
are putting as much passion into their learning as into Facebook or
socializing?
Wouldn’t it be good to suddenly see their true
potential expressed in their school work and the happiness it would create in
them?
Just take a few minutes now to see the
possibilities.
If you don’t finish reading this page, your kids could
end up completely apathetic by age 17, with no sense of direction. Then the door is open to all sorts of
trouble, that you may not be able to control.
Take a few
seconds to watch this:
Without a sense of responsibility, your kids are at
risk.If they don’t take charge for
their life, somebody else will for them…
When your kids take
responsibility, they take control!
They accept their part in all
situations, good or bad and learn from them and grow.
They stop blaming others and circumstances.
They become empowered and know where
their life is going.
Responsible kids start looking at school in a
different way.They enjoy the challenges
and welcome new ones. They learn from
their mistakes and failures and build new strengths from them. They understand priorities and get their
homework done.They develop their
strengths and learn to manage their weaknesses. They make the most of the chance of an education.
In other words, they are
self-motivated.Imagine what your life would be like with kids like that!
It doesn’t matter how old they are, where you are
from and what school they go to.All
kids can take responsibility.Keep
reading and we’ll show you how.
Ms. Bernard was a crucial aspect of my son’s academic
success. She managed to instill a sense of responsibility in his daily
tasks as well as an increased desire to succeed. She started a daily
routine that provided him guidance and goals to follow through with. She
is motivational and has a tremendous sense of understanding. My son’s
success last year was attributed to her compatibility with my son’s individual
needs. I trust she will bring on to others the same dedication and
assertiveness that she provided to us. She is a key role in what the
vocation of teaching and guidance should be.

How this all started:
Seventeen
years in education! And I loved it for
many many years. But more recently, I
started to notice something that really bothered me.And it looked like it was only going to get
worse…
There
were a lot of kids who had “issues”, sometimes they were called learning
disabilities but very often they were just lack of work or manners. These kids got plenty of attention from the system,
even to the point where, after serious misbehaving, they would even get
rewards!
Then
there were the “exceptional” kids, the ones who were better than any one else
at something. The ones we sometimes call
“gifted” (mmmm, I thought that everybody was gifted, but maybe I’m wrong…).These also got a lot of attention because we
wanted to make sure that they turned into the geniuses that they were
supposedly meant to be and it looked really good on the school’s record!
Now,
these two groups of people are not that many. They are in fact very few.Isn’t it a bit strange that in our culture, which is based on majority
decisions for everything, education puts so much effort into such small groups
of students?
Kids need some attention, but not just any and
not just a select group!
Granted,
these kids need the attention…How much,
how often, what kind?That’s another
debate.
But
what happens to the vast majority of students?
The ones
whose gifts are kept inside because no one ever shows them any interest?
The ones
who are never good enough or never bad enough to raise an eyebrow?
The ones
who are too shy to speak up but who have so much inside?
The GOOD KIDS, the AVERAGE KIDS who, in
reality are the ones who have most to offer?
Are
your kids in this huge group? The
chances are, they are!
Ms. Florence
Bernard’s dedication and zeal proved to be a difference maker in my son’s
education. Her unwavering support, as well as the advice and ideas given to my
son on an everyday basis, helped my boy to go from unhappy introvert, to a
better balanced, more confident student.
Our family will be forever grateful.
Thank you Ms. Bernard

Do you know that your kid has potential
that is not shown at school?
Do you find that school is a chore for
him/her?
Do you see their enthusiasm grow when
someone shows interest in what they do?
THEN YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I DECIDED TO LEAVE TEACHING AND START
SOMETHING THAT WOULD REALLY IMPACT KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CHANGE
EDUCATION.
I
bet you feel better now!Great! So give me another 6 minutes to watchthis TV interviewI
did a while ago.
Kids with clear goals reach success
Let’s face it, for the time being,
things are not going to change overnight.Your “middle of the road” child is going to stay there unless YOU do something about it!
Kids like yours won’t get any more
attention suddenly if they don’t take the bull by the horns. To do that, they need goals. They need to see that there is life after school and that they can turn
things around!
Allow your kids to have a vision and we’ll
help them to see ways to make it happen.
Ms. Bernard saw the potential in her students and provided
them with the encouragement and support they required to meet the challenges
she placed before them.[She] impressed
upon her students and on us as parents the value of broad and well-rounded
education; one that extends well beyond the classrooms and, indeed, beyond the
shores of our Islands.Ms. Bernard truly
understands the concept of ‘education’ and its value in today’s society.
